The New Jersey Macintosh Users Group (NJMUG) was founded in 1984 as a non-profit organization to help Macintosh computer users obtain information and support on Macintosh products and services. NJMUG is an officially recognized Apple User Group whose primary goal is to promote knowledge of Macintosh computers and related Apple hardware and software. Whether you own a Macintosh computer, Apple iPod, Apple iPhone, or Apple iPad we're here to help you learn more about them and get the most out of them.
NJMUG promotes the dissemination of information about the Macintosh through monthly general meetings, the MacLedger monthly newsletter, our member discussion boards as well as other online resources. The meetings start with a question and answer period which helps members solve a variety of problems from the simple to the sublime. The second half of the meeting consists of presentations on hardware and software from vendors and NJMUG members. NJMUG meetings are not only a great place to learn new things, they are the perfect place to make new acquaintances and friends.
NJMUG's strength lies in it's members who are dedicated to learning together and expanding their knowledge in the use of the Macintosh computer. Currently, our group has approximately 45 regular members from Northern and Central New Jersey as well as New York State. We are a highly diversified group of Macintosh enthusiasts with many different educational and occupational backgrounds as well as varying levels of Macintosh experience. And we're always looking for new members, whether new to the Macintosh or a Macintosh expert, to join and contribute their talents and skills so all may benefit.
