The New Jersey Macintosh Users Group (NJMUG) is a computer club, consisting of approximately 45 members, which focuses on all things Apple as well as other related technologies. Whether you use a Macintosh computer, Apple iPod, Apple iPad, or Apple iPhone, or are just interested in general computing, our meetings will allow you an opportunity to learn as well as share your experience with other like-minded individuals. Anyone is welcome to attend our monthly meetings.
Members of the general public who are considering membership in NJMUG may attend two general meetings as NJMUG guests; otherwise, meetings are open to members only. Membership in NJMUG is $30.00 per year and entitles you to attend monthly meetings as well as the numerous other member benefits.
NJMUG general monthly meetings occur on the third Tuesday of each month, beginning at 7:00 p.m. and ending at 9:45 p.m. From 7:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. we have our "Question and Answer" session, discuss the latest Apple news, and talk about general Macintosh, iPad, iPhone and iPod technology. The main presentations begin at 8:00 p.m.
NJMUG holds its monthly meetings at the Allwood Branch of the Clifton Library. Our meeting room is at the back of the library right against the parking lot. The address for the library is:
Clifton Public Library - Allwood Branch
44 Lyall Road
Clifton, NJ 07012
Phone Number: (973) 471-0555
(Get Directions)
The meeting room is located inside the Clifton Public Library - Allwood Branch building. As you enter the library through the main entrance, go to your right and to the back of the library. There is a hallway and the meeting room is located at the end of that hallway.
The Clifton Public Library - Allwood Branch has it's own parking lot which is located adjacent to the building. In the rare occasion that the parking lot is full, there is also street parking available on the other side of the library building.
We offer wireless Internet access at our meeting location. Members are able to bring their laptops or other wireless devices and obtain Internet access during our monthly meetings.
After each meeting a bunch of our members go to a local diner to grab a bite to eat and continue tech related discussions. In fact, we talk so much tech that you just might learn more than you do at one of our meetings. Anyone is welcome to join us at the diner.
